2026 The year of the horse

Yes, 2026 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese Zodiac, specifically the dynamic and fiery Year of the Fire Horse, beginning on the Lunar New Year, February 17, 2026, and ending February 5, 2027, bringing an energetic, action-oriented, and passionate period for bold moves, exploration, and potential upheaval.

2025 was a roller coaster ride for most of us. A year of releasing old energies and ending cycles in our lives that just does not serve us anymore.

"Moving Forward" was my attempt of an affirmation, I painted this art piece during the last few hours of 2025 moving into 2026 as a symbol of new beginnings and a reminder that everything in the past was lessons learned and a time to let go and move forward.

F1 2025 Max Verstappen

If you are a Formula One fan and pertol head like myself you might like this artwork of mine.

So the 2025 season ended with Max missing out on his 5th World championship title by only 2 points, closing a gap of 104 points defecate halfway through the season.

Although he lost due to a Red Bull car not being up to his standards he was still by far the best driver in 2025.

This painting is a tribute to a true legend of the sport. Best of luck for 2026 and lets hope Red Bull can provide Max with a competitive car in 2026.

Tranquility

Tranquillity is that sense of peace and quiet. It is the feeling you have while sitting under a starry sky, listening to the crickets. The aura of tranquility comes from the calm in the world, which makes you feel you are without a care in the world.

This is exactly the feeling I get from this Painting. A fictional place no doubt, but just maybe it exists somewhere in the world.

This piece of art was donated to a friend finding themselves in a place of difficulty.

It is a symbol of letting go and finding inner peace by crossing over from the old into the new.

Rhino

There are five existing species found in Africa (black and white) and Asia (Indian, Javan, Sumatran).

I guess now there are six. This is my green rhino.

The African wild dog (Lycaon pictus), also called painted dog and Cape hunting dog, is a wild canine native to sub-Saharan Africa.

The African wild dog has been listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List since 1990.
